One email list. No tracking of my own.
I'm Aym. The Nest is run by one person, and this page is the honest version of what happens to your data: what I collect, why I collect it, who else touches it, and how to make it go away.

Who is responsible for your data
Aym Abdalla, operating as The Nest (jointhenest.ai). I am the data controller. There is no team behind this. Questions, requests, or complaints go to hello@jointhenest.ai.
What I collect
Only what you hand over when you join the newsletter:
- Your email address. Typed into the form on the signup page.
- Your topic preferences. Which of the four threads you ticked: The Null Result, The Website Hustle, The Org, or The Nest. These are stored as a tag on your subscriber record so I can send you the thread you asked for.
- Open and click behavior on emails I send. Kit, the email platform, records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. I use that to tell whether a piece landed. It is on by default in Kit and I have not turned it off.
If you email me directly, I also have whatever you put in that email. That is not added to any list.
Why I collect it, and the legal basis
To send you The Nest newsletter and to segment it by the topics you picked. That is the whole purpose. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the signup form, and you can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.
Who else touches it
Kit (formerly ConvertKit)
Kit is the email platform and acts as my processor. Your email address, topic tags, and open and click history are stored on Kit's systems in the United States. Data transfers out of the EU and UK are covered by Kit's Standard Contractual Clauses and its Data Privacy Framework participation. Read Kit's privacy policy.
Google Fonts and jsDelivr
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts and two animation libraries from the jsDelivr CDN. When a page loads, those two providers receive your IP address and browser user agent, because that is how any request over the internet works. I do not receive that data and I do not use it. It is disclosed here because "no tracking" should mean the whole truth, not the convenient part.
Porkbun (email routing)
Mail sent to hello@jointhenest.ai is forwarded by Porkbun, my domain registrar, into a personal inbox. Your message passes through their forwarding service on the way to me.
Nobody else
This site has no first-party analytics, no advertising cookies, and no tracking pixels of my own. I have not installed a single measurement tool on it.
How long I keep it
Your subscriber record stays on the list until you unsubscribe. If you ask me to delete it outright, I delete it.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- Tell you what I hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your record entirely.
- Withdraw your consent and stop the emails.
Two ways to do it: hit unsubscribe at the bottom of any email, or email hello@jointhenest.ai and say what you want. Replying to any email I send also reaches me.
What I never do
I never sell your data. I never share or rent the list to anyone. There is no affiliate list swap, no data broker, no "trusted partners" clause hiding at the bottom of this page.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has subscribed, email me and I will remove the record.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, I update the effective date at the top of this page and, for anything material, say so in the newsletter. The current version is always the one published here.
